The laboratory personnel monitor the quality parameters at each stage of the production process (raw materials, semi-products, chemicals and finished products) carrying out various tests in accordance with the
Volgatechnical specifications, Russian State Standards and Internationally accepted parameters.
Located in specially conditioned rooms, the laboratories are equipped with modern instrumentation and control systems produced by “Lorensen Verttre”, “Messemer” and “Minolta”.
The main department – the paper laboratory – is certified by the Nizhniy Novgorod Standards & Certification Centre.
Routine quality control is in place and the PROCONT computer system recording the output of newsprint provides immediate
information about each separate paper reel: the way it was made, its properties, the time of its shipment. This allows JSC Volga to deal effectively with customers.
