A new photo book dealing with the history of the Balakhna Pulp and Paper Mill “Volga” and coinciding with the 95th anniversary of the company has now been published.
This is not the first book about the paper mill, but it differs from the others not only because it captures the main milestones of the 95-year history of the company from its interception to the present, but also because of its modern electronic format.

“The book is well suited to general readers. In addition to numerous previously unpublished archival photographs, its pages present interesting historical facts which are related not only to the history of the company, but also to the city of Balakhna, the settlement of Pravdinsk and the energy complex (NiGRES). It is worth noting that the new publication also details the recent period of paper mill development from 2019 through 2023: about the many challenges that our company has confronted, and how it has managed not only to improve methods of work, but also to redefine a wide range of its work streams. I hope that this book will become a useful source of information for everyone interested in the history and activities of the Balakhna Pulp and Paper Mill “Volga”, and, first of all, for the younger generation,” the author-compiler of the book, head of the Public Relations department, Aleksei Moiseev said.
