Four types of products of Volga JSC were included in the list of "100 Best Goods of Russia – 2021"
According to the results of the All-Russian competition "1100 Best Goods of Russia – 2021", as many as four types of products by Volga JSC received awards. Paper for corrugation (TC 17.12.72-007-00279278-2019 ) became the Winner of the competition, and three more types of finished products by Volga JSC – newsprint of increased weight (TC 17.12.11-004-00279278-2005), paper for corrugation (TC 17.12.72-006-00279278-2018) and technical packaging paper (TC 17.12.14-005-00279278-2018) became award winners of the competition.
Paper for corrugation (TC 17.12.72-007-00279278-2019 ) also received the official status of "Novelty of the Year". This means that this product has appeared on the market for the first time in the last two years.
This result is quite natural: all products by Volga JSC are certified, and each batch of paper undergoes strict laboratory quality control and only after verification is supplied to the end consumer. The program implemented in the company, aimed at improving the quality of finished products, made it possible for to bring new products to the market, which are highly appreciated by professional juries of major regional and All-Russian competitions.
Volga JSC has been participating in the "100 Best Goods of Russia" competition since 2015 and annually receives a high rating from experts. Over the past 6 years, more than 10 types of paper types produced by Volga JSC have become diploma holders and laureates of the "100 Best Goods of Russia" competition.
After winning the competition, Volga JSC received the right to place a special sign on the packaging of the winning goods - "100 Best Goods of Russia" for two years.
The contest "100 Best Goods of Russia" is held in two stages. At the first stage, the quality and safety of products by Volga JSC were evaluated by experts of the regional commission from among representatives of regulatory organizations and certification bodies. To the second, the All-Russian stage, a company is admitted if winning at the regional level. The selection criteria are the novelty of the product, import substitution, the environmental component of production and high quality of products.

Corrugated paper is intended for the production of corrugated cardboard for packaging products. The use of thin papers in the production of multilayer corrugated structures makes it possible to reduce their dimensions almost without compromising strength and to displace more expensive boxed cartons used in the production of corrugated packaging.
Newsprint of increased weight is intended for printing illustrative text publications or other graphic purposes. It has both a white and cream shade. The use of 100% TMP as a raw material, as well as modern production technology, made it possible to increase the bulkiness of the paper, which gives ordinary paper a more "expensive" look. Such paper is highly appreciated by manufacturers of book products and teaching notebooks.
Technical packaging paper from recycled materials (waste paper) is used for packaging various products, as well as as a basis for laminated paper.
