JSC Volga has successfully passed re-certification and received an updated certificate of compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015 valid until 25 January 2027. The scope of certification includes the newsprint and corrugated paper production.
From 22 to 26 January 2024, Bureau Veritas Certification Rus conducted a re-certification audit at JSC Volga, during which the auditor observed the implementation of processes within the certification area. The entire production chain was checked - from manufacture planning to fulfilment of the sales plan.
The Сompany has again demonstrated its ability to carry out the activities declared in the field of certification, as well as the availability of necessary resources and procedures to plan and manage the processes of product manufacture within the declared area.
The audit confirmed the Сompany's strengths, including efficiency and the personnel involvement in the quality management system (QMS), availability of significant investment projects aimed at improving production efficiency, high level of modern laboratory equipment of the Laboratory and Technical Control and Quality department, metrological support of production and a proven sales process of finished products.
"The ISO 9001:2015 certificate is a documentary confirmation of the implementation of an international quality management system at the Сompany, which is crucial for our Company. Having such a certificate helps to raise the Company's prestige, especially when we supply our goods not only to the domestic market, but also to export markets," - said Svetlana Guryleva, Head of the Volga's Laboratory and Technical Control and Quality Department . – Having ISO 9001:2015 certificate of conformity is a proof of competent management of the enterprise, confirmation that it produces quality goods".
