JSC Volga made the list “Top 100: Russia's leaders in 3 years productivity growth”

According to the results of the all-Russian award “Productivity: leaders of Russian industry-2020», which was organized and held by the Business portal “Production Management” (Moscow), JSC Volga took the 7th position in the category “Top 100: Russia's leaders in 3 years productivity growth”.

In 2017 the company’s productivity was 2.76 million rubles for person per year. In 2019, the productivity increased to 5.85 million rubles for person per year. Thus, the increase in the company’s productivity over the past 3 years (from 2017 to 2019) amounted to 112%.
It is noteworthy that JSC Volga was the only company from the pulp and paper industry to make the top ten in this category.

According to the rating compilers, productivity growth in one year is a significant indicator of the company's activity. But a 3 years growth is even more significant, as it demonstrates the systematic work of the company's management to improve its efficiency, from year to year, despite serious external challenges and market fluctuations.

REFERENTIAL INFORMATION:
The Performance Award is an annual project that was launched in 2015. Over the course of its work, the data from more than 5,000 Russia’s industrial enterprises was studied. Their total revenue amounted to more than 50% of Russia's GDP and the number of employees to more than 5 million people.
The basis for the Award was the data from the questionnaires provided by the enterprises, as well as data obtained from open sources (the enterprises’ quarterly and annual reports). To calculate productivity, the revenue indicators and the average stuffing numbers of the enterprises in 2017-2018 were used.
The analysis of such a large amount of data allows to offer the readers of the “Production Management” almanac a fairly complete picture of the situation with productivity in different industries, as well as the dynamics of changes in the indicator in recent years.
