OJSC Volga Corporate Name Changed
In accordance with Federal Law No. 99-FZ “On Introduction of Amendments to Chapter 4 Part One of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation and on Invalidation of Certain Provisions of Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation”, dated May 05, 2014, Open Joint Stock Company Volga (hereinafter the “Company”) has been renamed as Joint Stock Company Volga. The annual general meeting of shareholders adopted the revised Articles of Association of the Company, including the name change, on June 30, 2016. The revised Articles are due to be registered as required by law on state registration of legal entities.
New Company name:
Full name in English: Joint Stock Company «Volga»
Abbreviated name in English: JSC «Volga»
Changing the corporate name only addresses a new classification of the Company as a commercial nonpublic corporate entity in the form of a stock company and does not involve changes in the Company’s lines of business, number of employees, terms of employment or salary provisions. The Company’s details such as OGRN (Primary State Registration Number), INN (Taxpayer Identification Number), corporate bank account, address, telephone numbers, etc. remain the same.
The Company does not have to novate its contracts to reflect the new corporate name. All current contracts entered into by the Company remain in force.
